Because anyone who spends 40 hours a week working at a job should be paid a livable wage?
I don’t think anyone is saying people who flip burgers should be paid $60 grand a year. But fuck, they should at least be able to afford to live in a shitty studio apartment without having to get a 2nd or 3rd job or be on food stamps.
First off, moderate my ass. You ain’t no moderate.
Second, a “livable” wage is whatever works for you. For years I lived quite comfortably working a minimum wage job. I enjoyed my apartment and 38-40 hour work week.
But it wasn’t at McDonalds.
You don’t get 40 hours at McDonalds. No one does except managers. McDonalds isn’t even a fucking entry lvl position. It’s BELOW entry lvl and you want to get paid MORE for flipping burgers and shit? GTFO. That’s not even realistic.
Fast food jobs are like money in your pocket. Play money. You arnt supposed to fucking live off it. People usually have a main job as their primary source of income besides a fast food job. College kids work there seasonal. Kids work there when they are still in high school. It’s literally a money in your pocket job and not meant to buy a fucking house with. People graduate from fast food to entry level position jobs like factories and shit but fast food should never be a main source of income.
That and the fact that if fast food jobs paid as high as entry level jobs then why the fuck even get an education if you can just be a lazy shit and flip burgers for $10-$15 an hour?
You a lazy shit.
